Welcome to AirPlans! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website airplans.app, the AirPlans mobile application, and the eSIM data plans we sell (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or purchasing a plan you accept these Terms — please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & Account
- You affirm that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We do not verify age at registration and rely on this confirmation.
- You agree to provide accurate registration details, keep them up to date, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One person — one account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions or referrals is prohibited.
2. The Service
- AirPlans sells prepaid eSIM plans for single countries, multi-country regions and global coverage. Most plans are data-only; some plans also include a phone number, minutes and SMS, and this is stated on the plan itself. Connectivity is delivered over the networks of our international roaming partners.
- Plans are digital products: immediately after payment, your eSIM (QR code and installation details) appears in your My eSIMs area and is emailed to you.
- Data usage is metered by our network partners; sessions may be rounded up to the nearest kilobyte.
- We reserve the right to select and change network operators and technology partners at our discretion, in the interest of service quality.
3. Device Compatibility — Your Responsibility
By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have an eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked device. Please verify compatibility before ordering — a quick way is to dial *#06# and check for an EID number, or consult your device manufacturer. Purchases made for incompatible or locked devices are not grounds for a refund (see our Refund Policy).
4. Plan Validity, Activation & Expiry
- Each plan states its data amount and validity period. Validity starts according to the plan's terms — typically upon installation or upon first connection in the destination.
- When the data is consumed or the validity period ends (whichever comes first), the plan terminates automatically. Unused data expires and has no cash value.
- Where top-ups are offered, they extend an existing eSIM through the My eSIMs area and are subject to these Terms.
5. Fair Usage Policy
- Plans are for personal, consumer use only. Commercial resale or redistribution of connectivity is strictly prohibited.
- "Unlimited" plans are subject to the fair-use policies of the underlying local networks; after heavy daily usage, speeds may be reduced for the remainder of the usage cycle.
- Prohibited: machine-to-machine/bulk usage, continuous streaming intended to replace a fixed-line connection, and excessive hotspot sharing with multiple devices or users beyond occasional personal use.
- Where usage significantly exceeds that of typical users, we may — normally after notice — reduce speeds, limit access, or suspend the plan.
6. No Voice & No Emergency Calls
Unless a plan explicitly states otherwise, our eSIMs provide data only: they do not include a phone number and cannot place regular voice calls — including calls to emergency services (such as 100/101/911/112). Keep your primary SIM available for emergency calling.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, to interfere with networks or our platform, or in violation of applicable telecom regulations of the destination country.
8. Prices, Currencies & Payment
- The currency your payment is charged in depends on your card and the payment method you choose at checkout. Prices shown in any other currency are indicative conversions for your convenience only; the exact amount and currency you will be charged are always displayed at checkout before you confirm.
- Prices may change at any time; changes never affect orders already paid. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is handled by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms.
9. AirBonus & Referral Program
- Sharing your personal referral link earns you a personal AirBonus credit when an invited friend registers through your link and completes a qualifying first purchase (a minimum order value may apply, as shown on the Referral page).
- The AirBonus is tied to your account and appears at checkout for you to apply to your own order — there is no code to type.
- AirBonus has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, expire on the date shown, and expire with account closure.
- One reward per invited person. Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts, and other abuse will result in forfeiture of rewards and may lead to account suspension.
10. Refunds & Chargebacks
- Refunds for our digital products are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- Please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback — most issues are resolved within minutes. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of the associated account and recovery of costs where permitted by law.
11. Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, payment abuse, referral abuse, or material breach of these Terms — where necessary, without prior notice — and may refuse creation of replacement accounts.
- No refund is due where suspension or termination results from your breach or fraudulent activity.
- You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from the app settings.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services and platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Mobile coverage, speed and availability depend on local operators, geography, congestion and other factors beyond our control; we do not guarantee fault-free or uninterrupted service in every location, nor specific speeds at any given time or place.
13. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including lost profits, missed connections, or roaming charges incurred on other SIMs or with other providers.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify AirPlans against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Services, or your violation of third-party rights.
15. Intellectual Property
The AirPlans name, logo, website, app, designs and content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied, modified or used without prior written permission.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version; material changes will be announced on the site or app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Tel Aviv — without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
- Talk to us first: before filing any claim, please contact support with a written description of the dispute — the vast majority are resolved quickly and amicably.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law, including the right to participate in proceedings that such law makes available to you.
